V- The File Viewer
V is a combination File Viewer / Directory Browser for Windows 95/98 and Windows NT/2000. V is an invaluable utility for anyone who spends much of their time navigating directories and viewing files. For those who prefer to work in DOS Boxes, V provides a fast and convenient way of viewing files - just type V Filename and the file is right in front of you. There is no need to switch to Explorer and certainly no need to bring up a File Open Dialog Box! Our Review: V, no not the 80's sci-fi miniseries but the file viewer. V is similar to Windows Explorer with a few major differences. V has a few more icons (most of which are pointless), V is a little harder to navigate through and V isn't free. In V's defense there are a couple of useful functions but nothing useful enough to justify the price. (PS. V is also not really a viewer in that you cannot view pictures or hear sounds, you can merely view the file!)
