App Killer is a powerful, flexible, and easy-to-use add-on for Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 (service pack 3 or higher). It allows you to selectively kill programs and processes. It is especially useful when coupled with Startup and Shutdown Launcher. Do you need to automatically kill one program before running another one? App Killer is your answer. Our Review: This program promises to enable you to close applications quickly and easily. I found that, although it works, it is not as quick and easy as it could be. To close an application you have to drag it from a list (that doesn't automatically refresh) to another window and then click the 'kill apps' button. It also runs into problems trying to close windows in the OS, because they are controlled by the kernel, explorer.exe, which is closed, causing windows to become inoperable. Although it has a lot of features worthy of merit, I prefer Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
