When moving files between computers, or just putting away files for later use (e.g. backups), the intermediate medium used might not be able to deal with the whole files directly, such as floppies, email, SuperDisks, RW-CD-ROM. The aim with this program is to split these big files into manageable sizes (that is, into several smaller files that can be handled individually), which later on may be used to restore the original files.
Our Review: This program allows you to split very large files into smaller "chunks" which can then be copied to floppy disks, allowing you to transport large files between computers. The File Chopper has some advanced features, including a "Self Uniting file" which will automatically combine its chunks together again without having to use The File Chopper.
