A system monitor utility that can check network ports for a specified IP protocol, check the local CPU for running processes, and check the return status after running a specified executable/batch (BAT, CMD or Perl) file. It reports the status and gives an audio and visual indication of success or failure. A batch/executable may be run at failure and/or success of the service being tested. System up time may be reported if the target computer is running UpTime. Our Review:This network utility checks the up/down status of hosts on the network and alerts the user if any host is not responding. A little complicated to use without the benefit of either a readme or help file. |
