AbsoluteProtect lets you monitor location of your computer on the Internet. When AbsoluteProtect is installed, it waits until the computer is connected to the Internet and then connects (HTTP) to Absolute Protect server, which traces location of the computer and records it to log. Our Review:Absolute Protect is security software designed to hide in your system in case your computer gets stolen. It reports its location onto a webpage or by email. A good idea but formatting the hard drive would definitely delete the program anyway. |
