Split Magix! is a powerful file splitter/unsplitter which not only allows you to split large files into smaler pieces but also allows you optionally compress them first given even greater savings than conventional file splitters allow. Split Magic! will split both bonary and text files and will incorporate itself into windows/explorer Send to menu so that you can split and reassemble files without first havving to locate and run the programme. Our Review: This is a simple and easy to use utility, with an intuitive and attractive interface. Split Magic has some very nice features, like the ability to email and ftp your files from within the program. You can also control your dial-up connection, making the program pretty much stand alone if you need to do some serious file splitting! The shareware version limits the size of files that the program will split to 1 megabyte, which seriously limits the usefulness of this software.
