When you use SecureMedia, you can take your protected files with you to any desktop or laptop computer with the Microsoft Windows 95, 98, or 2000 operating systems. By using a password known only to yourself, you can then immediately access the secure information stored on the media. Our Review: SecureMedia makes access of removable media more difficult by enforcing password protection and encryption on the media. It is as simple as having the media ready and pointing the program to where it is. However, the program must copy a 660K version of itself onto the media, making floppy discs less useful, and does not have any features to help formatting. Otherwise, this is a good securing program.
