It runs in the system tray, and also shows you exactly how much memory you have available, plus graphs how you've been using memory over the last 60 seconds! Our Review: A small, useful utility that lets you optimize your computer's available memory. It sets up an icon in the system stray, and a right-click lets you bring up a small taskbar, allowing you to access its small amount of features. MaxMem will periodically purge your system of unused programs that chew up valuable resources at three different levels of intensity.
