PortICE
PortICE is designed to monitor your computer ports, and to give you the information you need in order to know whois using or trying to connect to your ports. PortICE works as a firewall, that makes sure that no ports is being used by any type of attacks. As many of todays trojans, such as Back Orifice known as BO, and Netbus and many others, uses your computer ports to make other users known as hackers, to connect, and takeover your computer and also to read and get any information you store in your computer. PortICE will stop these trojans from working, and so you will have a safe, trojan free computer. Our Review: A perfect example of a simple, easy to use, effective system security program. Want to prevent people from accessing your ports? Just use PortICE and it will stop them. Easy. Disable as many ports as you want and feel safe and secure... However, remember that HTTP is port 80 and FTP is port 21, and you can't use either if you have blocked them.
