The small utility permitting to open and to close CD-ROM by the "hot key" and from menu. Also shows presence of a disk in CD-ROM in system tray (near the clock).
Our Review: The purpose of CDDoor is to provide an icon in the Taskbar which can be used to check if there is currently a CD in the drive. It can also be used to open and close the CD drive easily, by clicking on the taskbar icon, or by defining a 'hot key'. Not too much use really, seeing as CD drives tend to come with a button on the front which already achieves this effect but it doesn't consume system resources and you may find this a viable alternative.
