Cache View
Cache View is a viewer for the Netscape Navigator(TM) Cache. You can open the cached files for viewing, and copy or move them out of the cache. It will even reconstruct the names and directory paths of the files for you. It makes emptying the files in the cache easier than ever. The intuitive Windows 95 interface makes Cache View easy to learn and even easier to use. Cache View extracts the following information about cached files from the fat.db file: URL, Size (in bytes), MIME Type, Last modified date, Date the file was downloaded, and the Expiry date. Our Review: Cache View is a simple and easy to use cache manager for use with Netscape. With Cache View you can copy or move cache files to other directories and view tag information such as when the file will expire and what URL it came from. This could be useful to clean out redundant files from your cache but still keep webpages that you want to quick-load from cache.
