WinSafe 2001
WinSafe 2001 is a fast and effective way to increase your windows security. Windows 95 and 98 are not very secure a simple click of cancel at the windows log in screen gives full acess to files and applications. WinSafe 2001 is a secondary log in screen which is not so easily passed. A user must enter a WinSafe 2001 password to continue to use windows. ctrl+alt+delete is disabled and if the password is entered incorrectly three times the computer is shut down. Our Review: If you need simple password protection for Windows there are lots of options available and, while WinSafe 2001 performs its modest little task adequately, there is very little to separate it from the field. In fact, with some shoddy presentation and no customisability or support whatsoever WinSafe is difficult to recommend. Avoid.
