BlackBoard Lock is activated when windows starts up then allows you to use Windows after entering the correct password. Then WinLock sits in the system tray until actiavted again. The control-alt-del, and F-keys are disabled until the correct password is entered. It also logs all activity. Our Review:WinLock is a very easy to use password protection system which resides in your system tray. If you are leaving the computer, it is simply a matter of clicking the item and your system will lock up (and ignore any keypresses including ctrl-alt-del) until you come back and enter the correct password. The log will tell you if anybody has been trying to crack your password while you were away. |
