WinArj 32 is a 32bit Windows Archiver for "ARJ compressed archives", this version of WinArj is written for windows 98/NT and supports Long-File-Names. WinArj is written in Visual Basic ver 4.0, and therefor requires VB40032.DLL (396k) as the runtime library. WinArj enables you to create and extract files from .arj compressed archives. It supports multivolume archives, password protection, folder recursion, and more. WinArj 32 can also list most other archives, with file-extensions like: ZIP, ZOO, LHA and more. Our Review: Mmmm... it's arjtastic! Winarj32, despite looking a bit dated, is a well put together frontend for the ARJ compression program. The interface is a bit cluttered by lots of buttons which makes it a little difficult to use when you first open it. However, it contains all of the necessary features to create/extract an ARJ file, and a few extra features too. It can be set to create multiple ARJ volumes of 1.4MB sizes etc. so archives can be easily spanned across disks. You can also create self extracting archives and heaps more. A good program!
