PurgeIE is a Shareware utility program designed to help maintain the Cache and Cookie files and to remove one's Tracks for Internet Explorer 4.0, or higher, whether running on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME or NT 4.0. Our Review:PurgeIE is a history, cache, and cookie utility to remove unwanted said clutter from your PC. It has a fantastic range of options that allow you to select precisely what you wish to have removed (online cache, offline cache, typed URLs, visited URLs, auto-complete forms etc. etc.) and, if that wasn't enough, even allows you to preview exactly what it intends to delete (thus allowing you to select individual items to save). PurgeIE allows the creation of 'purge now' shortcuts based on your settings so that, once you have customised it, purging can be done seamlessly and, if you place a shortcut in your start-up items, automatically. |
