W3e2000 was designed for people who have a need to create and build intricate web pages with JAVA scripts and/or 3D pictures via plug-in. W3e2000 is really several programs in one. It is first and foremost an HTML editor for the creation of web pages. The other program within W3e2000 is a JAVA editor and compiler using either Microsoft of Sun Microsystems versions. Our Review: This is an easy to use, clearly laid-out HTML editing package. Targeted at the beginner, it has very easy to learn methods, with pull-down menus for most basic commands, including code (like "html", "body" or "comments"), an excellent "preview" tab (to see what you have created) and an in-built JAVA panel. The JAVA support is very good, with scripting, compiling and applet functionality. The help is basic but very clear, the interface good and the program fast. Overall, ideal for those new to web-authoring.
