Pixie is a colour spy plus a mouse tracker. Forget about screen capture nightmares. Run Pixie, simply point to the colour and it will tell you the RGB, hex and HTML-ready values of colour. You can then use these values to reproduce the colour in your favorite programs (however please keep all the necessary copyrights :). Pixie also shows the current x and y position of your mouse pointer.
Our Review: Pixie is a cool little program that does its job well and has an amazingly small footprint. Pixie will generate most if not all the codes you could possibly need in an HTML color picker and, best of all, it's free! Supported codes include HEX, HTML, RGB, CMYK, and HSV. It is however inferior in the user-friendliness and easy to use department in a sense that everything is done with short-cuts, ie you have to memorise all the hot-keys before you'll be able to fully take advantage of its capability. If you're after a simple color picker, check this out - it will more than likely do all that you could need and possibly more.
