Drives Scanners and Digital Cameras Directly from the Web Site. WebTWAIN is an ActiveX control that can access local TWAIN-compliant devices, such as scanners and digital cameras. Users simply push the WebTWAIN button on the Web site to scan photos or take pictures. The images will be immediately shown on the web site. There is no longer any need to use application software to get images and search for files in the hard drive. Our Review: WebTWAIN contains the relevant .dll files required to integrate TWAIN compliant devices with your webpage. What this means is that you can have a video camera or digital camera feeding into your website - providing perhaps security footage or a live webcam. Sample HTML code is included.
