Dirhtml creates index.html files from a directory list using the GUI or command line, optionally including HTML code of your own design at any point in the generated file. With dirhtml, your index.html files can be unique and arbitrarily complex. Dirhtml works under Windows 95/98/NT/2000.
Our Review: Dirhtml basically allows you to choose a directory and from which to create an *.html file which lists all the files in your chosen directory. If you click on a file (or subdirectory), you will follow the link to the subdirectory, or open the file in the appropriate browser (eg. Notepad, Winamp...). It does the job well and is simple to use making it perfect for those who want to make their computer's contents public to those on a network. It may also be good for people with large HTTP file repositories. Recommended.
